Learning by moving
Ms. Yuri builds lessons around movement, so new words arrive with actions, songs and games that help them stick.
Spanish is part of our Monday homeschool program in Lakewood Ranch. Taught by Ms. Yuri, who is fluent in both Spanish and English and has extensive experience teaching Spanish. Her classes are movement based, so students hear, speak, sing and act out the language instead of memorizing lists.

Vocabulary, songs and partner games that build everyday speaking, with movement tied to every new word.
More conversation and reading, with students using full phrases to describe, ask and respond.
Learning another language and culture builds empathy, and speaking up in a new language is a small, brave act of leadership every week.
