A Monday at Mindful
A Monday at Mindful runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Children learn in small cohorts, with a specialist teacher for each subject rather than one person presenting every discipline. Across the Academy, the seven subjects are STEM, art, Spanish, drama, music, humanities and PreK enrichment. The mix is matched to each program; seven subjects does not mean every age group takes every class. Parents learn alongside their children in Mommy & Me. Drop-off is for elementary and middle school students.
The day gives children room to investigate, make, communicate and collaborate. A STEM challenge can encourage careful observation and testing; art creates space for creative choices; music and drama develop expression through sound and performance.
