Finding Our Pirate Voices
Today in drama class, we had a wonderful time exploring a series of fun pirate activities. We kicked things off with pirate speech exercises, practicing different vocal patterns and learning how to speak like a pirate.
Action on Deck with Man Overboard
After warming up our voices, we jumped into an active pirate game called Man Overboard. Through the game, we learned a variety of pirate ship commands and practiced responding in character.
Bringing Polly the Parrot to Life
We brought our drama session together by working on a mini script called Polly the Parrot. The scene featured two pirates, including one with a bird named Polly, giving our young actors a chance to practice dialogue and stage presence.
